Info
From the Highlands to Glasgow, Tide Lines channel salt air and city pulse into melodic folk-rock rooted in Celtic tradition and modern hooks. Led by vocalist-guitarist Robert Robertson with Alasdair Turner, Ross Wilson and Fergus Munro, the band has shaped a catalogue that moves between driving guitars, keys and traces of Gaelic. After Dreams We Never Lost, Eye of the Storm and An Ocean Full of Islands, they returned in June 2025 with Glasgow Love Story on their own Tide Lines Music label. On 24 April 2026 they bring these songs to Knust, Hamburg.
Still writing and rehearsing in a converted church on the Isle of Mull, Tide Lines let the Hebridean landscape flow into their sound: space, weather, the pull of the coast. Robertson sums it up as music rooted in place but aimed at connection. Expect a rock backbone softened by folk textures, stories of journeys and small towns, and choruses built for voices in a room. A live set that threads their four albums into one narrative, from early sea-swept ballads to the pulse of Glasgow Love Story, where Highlands imagery meets city lights.
