Véronique Sanson

On July 26, 2026, at the Théâtre antique d'Orange, Véronique Sanson performs with the pop-rock blend and sense of groove that have run through her discography since Amoureuse. A singer-songwriter and pianist, she alternates finely crafted ballads with more urgent, edgy numbers, infused with Californian influences, choral voices and velvety guitars. From the 1970s to today, her repertoire draws on Vancouver, Hollywood, Sans regrets, Plusieurs lunes and Dignes, dingues, donc…, with songwriting that speaks directly about feelings and everyday life. At the piano, the centerpiece of the set, she lets harmonies from soul and jazz breathe, while allowing more rock-inflected rhythmic surges to unfold. Surrounded by musicians, she revisits her studio eras without indulging in nostalgia, favouring nuance and the energy of the live show. Her voice and lyrics remain present throughout, between familiar melodies and new tonal colours.
