Info
Clinton Kane will be in Paris on 18 May 2026, performing at Les Étoiles. A Filipino-Norwegian-Australian singer-songwriter, he grew up between Perth and the United Kingdom before setting out with a backpack and a guitar slung over his shoulder. For him, writing is a matter of survival: songs written in the moment that lay bare emotions and scars, on a pop‑folk thread sometimes tinged with rock.
Initially revealed through stripped-back guitar-and-voice and piano-and-voice covers, he soon moved on to his own material: an EP in 2019, followed by “Chicken Tendies” and “I Guess I’m in Love” in 2021, which established him beyond the circle of insiders. His debut album, Maybe Someday It’ll All Be OK (2022), confirmed a blend of intimate ballads and direct choruses, supported by a wide-ranging voice and spare arrangements.
In early 2025 he left the major labels to become independent again and take back control of his music. That shift began with “Heartbeat For A Home,” written in one go and inspired by a love that was both intense and thwarted. On stage, Clinton Kane returns to the essentials: forthright lyrics, performances delivered up close, and the tension between fragility and strength that shapes his songs. At Les Étoiles, he continues this new chapter with confidence, true to what has driven him from the start.
