William Prince brings his Further From the Country Tour to Kelowna Community Theatre in Kelowna on March 3, 2026. The Winnipeg songwriter moves between spare folk, country accents and traces of gospel, guided by a deep voice and plainspoken storytelling. From Earthly Days through Reliever and Gospel First Nation to Stand in the Joy, his songs look at family, grief, faith and belonging, carried by acoustic textures and a calm sense of space. On stage he keeps it close, solo or with a small band, letting melodies breathe and words lead, with a steady link to his Peguis First Nation roots and the wider Americana lineage.
Boy Golden joins with a blend of country, folk rock and americana shaded by a light psych touch. Also from Winnipeg, he emerged with Church of Better Daze and followed with For Jimmy, building warm harmonies, guitars and keys around everyday stories of travel, makeshift communities and small searches. Live, he shifts between electric drive and stripped-back ease, favoring feel over effects. His set pairs naturally with Prince’s narrative focus and keeps the night moving with unhurried tempos and melodic tunes.
