On May 24, 2026 at The Garrison in Toronto, Just Mustard bring a sound that folds shoegaze, trip-hop and post-rock into something tense and immediate. Formed in Dundalk, the five-piece — Katie Ball (vocals), David Noonan and Mete Kalyoncuoğlu (guitars), Robert Hodgers Clarke (bass) and Shane Maguire (drums) — leans on distorted guitars, deep low end and precise sound design. After Wednesday (2018) and Heart Under (2022, Partisan Records), the band opens a new chapter with We Were Just Here, a third album that shifts from industrial haze toward a clearer, more forward pulse. Ball’s airy voice cuts through the weight, guiding songs that move from slow-burn hypnosis to sudden impact. On stage, they play with contrasts: grainy textures against clean lines, restraint against surge, melody against noise. A set that traces their evolution without smoothing the edges, staying close to the physical feel that drives their tracks.
