Info
On July 19, 2026, at Kelowna Community Theatre in Kelowna, Steve Earle brings 51 Years of Songs & Stories, built around the tracks that marked his path and the tales behind them. Texan-born and Nashville-forged, the US folk/rock singer-songwriter moves between country, folk, rock and bluegrass, letting the narrative lead.
From the breakout of Guitar Town to Copperhead Road, he folds in the stripped-back turns of Train a Comin’ and the mid-90s return that sharpened his writing. Over time with his band The Dukes and a bluegrass detour alongside the Del McCoury Band on The Mountain, he also opened a political chapter with Jerusalem and The Revolution Starts… Now. Recent tributes like Townes and Jerry Jeff keep a line to his influences. This set reaches across eras, where each song lands with a story attached, tracing five decades of American songwriting.
