Info

Jacob Collier plays the Orpheum in Vancouver on April 11, 2026. The London-born multi-instrumentalist moves between jazz, pop, R&B and choral writing, working with dense harmonies, shifting meters and collective vocal textures. From the homemade spark of In My Room to the four-volume Djesse project, his catalog lends itself to live reworks: loops built in real time, reharmonized hooks, modular grooves, and call-and-response that turns the room into an extra section of the band.

On stage he slips between keyboards, bass, guitar and percussion, stacking voices and inviting the audience into wide choral passages. The set often threads the chamber colors of Djesse Vol. 1, the orchestral sweep of Vol. 2, the electronic edges of Vol. 3 and the song-focused writing of Vol. 4, with space for detours and arrangements shaped on the spot. Collier’s collaborations across jazz, pop and film echo in these versions, where studio experiments meet the energy of the crowd and the music shifts shape in real time.
