Franz Ferdinand will perform at Zenith Munich on 31 March 2026. Hailing from Glasgow and firmly rooted in indie rock since their breakthrough with “Take Me Out” (2004), the band led by Alex Kapranos is known for danceable guitars, tight rhythms and melodies with a clear edge. On stage, early tracks from their debut meet later, sometimes electronically tinged songs—played with focus and precision. As part of the Greater Glasgow European Cultural Exchange 2026, they bring their mix of post‑punk energy and poppy directness to the stage: cutting riffs, pulsing bass, and a dry groove.
Also appearing is The Great Leslie. The British band rounds out the evening and opens the show before Franz Ferdinand take over.
