BAP « Die zielgerade »

BAP will make Die zielgerade resonate in the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg on 27 November 2026. Formed in 1976 around singer, lyricist and frontman Wolfgang Niedecken, the Cologne band performs its songs in Kölsch, focusing on city life, family, and social and political issues. Musically, it sticks to the blend BAP is known for: rock with folk and bluesy accents, electric guitars, quieter ballads and the distinctive spoken-sung delivery that drives the stories forward.

The setlist brings together songs from different decades. Early classics — from Für usszeschnigge! to Vun drinne noh drusse — sit alongside later pieces such as Amerika, Aff un zo, Radio Pandora or Lebenslänglich. Niedecken guides the repertoire, which has grown over the years with changing line-ups without losing the core of the Cologne project. Die zielgerade captures exactly that: a concentrated evening of BAP’s language, themes and sound — live, direct and without detours at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg.
