On October 9, 2026, party Schlager will be in the spotlight at the 12th Original Karlsruhe Oktoberfest on the Karlsruhe fairgrounds: Mickie Krause brings his repertoire of catchy hooks, simple, often tongue-in-cheek lyrics and a mix of Schlager, pop and dance to the stage. Since the late 1990s the Wettingen native has been at home in festival tents, at Carnival and on Mallorca; songs like "Zehn nackte Friseusen" and "Schatzi schenk mir ein Foto" have become collective sing‑along moments. Live he relies on direct address, call-and-response and choruses that stick quickly – music that goes straight to the dance floor and gets the audience loudly joining in together.
