Mammoth, the project led by Wolfgang Van Halen, will be at Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette on December 1, 2026. A songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Wolfgang shapes his tracks from start to finish—on drums, bass, guitars and keyboards. He delivers powerful, melodic rock, with memorable choruses and direct guitars, carried by a clear voice. Distance laid the groundwork, and the debut album Mammoth WVH and its successor Mammoth II then defined the direction, from "Don't Back Down" to "Epiphany."
On stage he surrounds himself with a tight-knit band to give these songs added depth, with a dynamic honed during tours alongside Metallica and Pantera and opening slots for Foo Fighters. A Grammy nominee, Wolfgang opens a new chapter with the third album The End, which he is presenting live. A taut set of heavy riffs, nervous tempos and crisp melodies, conceived for the stage.
