Info

On April 21, 2026, Dirty Sound Magnet took the stage at La Maroquinerie in Paris. The Swiss trio, rooted in psychedelic rock with progressive leanings, blends blues and 1970s hard rock influences with a more alternative sensibility. In concert, the material stretches into long build-ups, rhythmic ruptures and instrumental passages where guitar, bass and drums answer one another. Improvisation occupies a central place: interaction with the audience guides the variations and each song can take on a different form over the course of the set.

Scheduled to run for more than two hours, the concert spans a wide spectrum of their repertoire. Western Lies (2017) established the trio’s aesthetic, Transgenic (2019) explores its conceptual side, while DSM-III (2022) brings the songwriting closer to stage energy without forsaking instrumental space. Their live album above all serves as a reminder that it is onstage that the band’s identity asserts itself: a broad sound, distinct melodic lines, tensions followed by releases. At La Maroquinerie, this extended format suits their approach, balancing standout songs with improvised detours.
