Debout sur le Zinc

Debout sur le Zinc stops at the Splendid in Lille on 13 March 2026 to present Mémoire Électrique, their eleventh album. After more than twenty years of carving out a distinctive line in French song, the band tightens its sound—more electric—without abandoning its folk roots or the rock drive that carries its arrangements. The lyrics by Simon Mimoun and Romain Sassigneux move very close to the everyday and the intimate: the passing of time, the urge to set off again, inner exile, the promise of elsewhere, the ways of reconnecting. A precise, almost photographic style that captures sharp images and familiar shadows.

On stage, Debout sur le Zinc navigates between tension and release, acoustic and electric instruments, bringing these new songs to life. Mémoire Électrique invites movement rather than pause, opens windows and urges the road onward.
