Unsane + Stuntman

On April 2, 2026, at L’Antirouille in Montpellier, Unsane returns to basics. The New York trio led by Chris Spencer replays the DNA of its noisiest period: abrasive guitars, heavy rhythms, taut vocals. This tour draws on the early records — Unsane, Total Destruction, Scattered, Smothered & Covered — and reconnects with the raw aesthetic that anchored the band at Amphetamine Reptile and Matador. In the background, a reissue of Occupational Hazard accompanies this comeback, featuring early tracks including "Committed," which was noticed via the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater soundtrack. Between visions of urban alienation and direct energy, Unsane plays without detour, true to a DIY tradition focused on impact rather than effect.

Stuntman opens from Sète. Formed in 2002, the quartet navigates between chaotic hardcore, noise and bursts of grind. Short songs, abrupt breaks, taut guitars: a sharp, direct songwriting approach, deliberately at odds with prevailing trends. Their unvarnished style completes the bill and delivers tight, dense sets played at point-blank intensity.
