Info
Free Throw brings the Moments Before The Wind Tour to The Opera House, 735 Queen Street East, Toronto, on May 12, 2026. Formed in Nashville in 2012 around singer and guitarist Cory Castro, the band moves between emo and pop punk with melodic guitars, tempo shifts and lyrics that look straight at mental health, addiction and the long road into adulthood. From Those Days Are Gone (2014) through Bear Your Mind (2017) and What’s Past Is Prologue (2019), then Piecing It Together (2021) and Lessons That We Swear to Keep (2023), Free Throw keeps refining a balance of raw energy, clear choruses and indie rock undercurrents.
Also on the bill, Long Island’s Macseal blends emo, indie rock and pop punk. Clean guitars, slightly off‑kilter rhythms and often collective vocals carry songs rooted in everyday life and relationships. After a string of DIY‑minded EPs, the album Super Enthusiast (2019) fixed a more defined writing style with memorable hooks and agile structures.
Opening set by wakelee. This show is all ages.
