Big Thief

Big Thief are touring Europe with their Somersault Slide 360 tour and stop at Den Atelier in Luxembourg on 18 June 2026. Formed in Brooklyn around Adrianne Lenker, the band comprises Buck Meek on guitar, Max Oleartchik on bass and James Krivchenia on drums. Since Masterpiece and Capacity, their taut indie folk has flirted with stage rock, driven by Lenker’s singular voice, guitars that tighten or open up, and a supple rhythm section. U.F.O.F. revealed their more vaporous side, Two Hands their rawer face, and the double album Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You broadened the palate between rural folk, lo‑fi pop and sudden electric bursts.

This Luxembourg date follows Double Infinity, their new album, offering a chance to hear recent tracks alongside songs that have shaped their trajectory. On stage, Big Thief work with tension and release, stretch silences, let melodies slip away before catching them again. The set is conceived as a constant back-and-forth between intimacy and collective momentum, with Lenker’s songwriting supported by a tightly knit quartet.
