Testament

Born in the Bay Area in the mid-’80s, California’s Testament forged a direct, precise and melodic form of thrash propelled by Eric Peterson’s riffs, Alex Skolnick’s solos and Chuck Billy’s powerful voice. Their trajectory spans eras without abandoning the old-school foundation, while incorporating technical, sometimes dark, elements that have defined key albums in their discography.

On stage, the band builds a bridge between its beginnings and Titans of Creation, an album where the bass comes to the fore, the vocals are doubled and the guitars explore more progressive textures. The tracks address firmly rooted themes: cults and abuses on Children of the Next Level, folklore and darkness on Night of the Witch, mental health on Symptoms, and ponderous slowness combined with a criminal chronicle on City of Angels. Between nervy thrash, deathlike weight and clear melodies, Testament presents a palette that stays true to the essentials: intensity, precision and a keen sense of riff.

Testament will be performing on 8 July 2026 at Le Bikini in Ramonville-Saint-Agne. The date promises a journey through their classics and latest explorations, with a collective dynamism honed over the years and built for the stage.
