Les Bodin's « Grandeur nature »

Les Bodin's are hitting the road again with Grandeur Nature on April 16, 2027 at the Zénith de Dijon. Born in the mid-1990s, the duo of Vincent Dubois and Jean-Christian Fraiscinet has created a world where rural France meets the modern day. On stage are Maria Bodin, a plain-spoken countrywoman, and her son Christian, who stayed on the farm. From this mother–son relationship come misunderstandings, squabbles and small everyday philosophies, conveyed through precise language, a proudly assumed accent and very concrete situations drawn from agricultural work.

After beginning in regional venues, Les Bodin's staged Grandeur Nature outdoors on a farm in Touraine before developing an indoor touring version. This signature format also accompanied their move into cinema, from Mariage chez les Bodin's to Les Bodin's en Thaïlande. In 2027, continuing their 30th-anniversary tour, they return to present this world on stage in Dijon, offering popular theatre that tells of family, generations and the countryside, as close to reality as possible.
