Lancement De Mowno #11 Avec Basic Partner, Rest Up Et Dewey

Mowno is settling in at Le Chinois for the launch of its issue 11 and invites three branches of the indie scene to intersect on 27 February 2026 at Le Chinois, 6 Place du Marché, Montreuil. The evening is conceived as a live table of contents, with a focus on bands that put rock back on track.

Basic Partner opens a post‑punk breach from Nantes. Taut bass, angular guitars, in‑your‑face vocals and compact song structures: tracks that march straight ahead, balancing taut nervous energy with hooky melodies.

Rest Up arrives from Angers with a noise‑rock that embraces saturation. Jarring rhythms, walls of guitar and abrupt breaks — the trio trades on tension and lets melodic lines filter through the mass.

Dewey, from Paris, slides the bill toward shoegaze. Reverb‑drenched washes, voices in chiaroscuro, guitars that swell and an indie sensibility that remains front and centre, between haze and pop contours.

Three ways of traversing indie, one shared bill. Montreuil serves as the playground for this launch, where each band imposes its colour without overrelying on effects.
