THE EXPLOITED w/ BOOTLICKER, LANGUID & MOTHERFUCKERS

On April 12, 2026, The Exploited lead a hard-charging night at The Starlite Room in Edmonton, with Bootlicker, Languid and Motherfuckers setting the pace.

Formed in Edinburgh at the tail end of the 70s, The Exploited fuse street punk and early hardcore, driven by Wattie Buchan’s bark, sprint tempos and chant-ready hooks. From Army Life and Exploited Barmy Army to the albums Punk’s Not Dead and Troops of Tomorrow, they nailed a raw, no-frills sound that later leaned into crossover on The Massacre, Beat the Bastards and Fuck the System. On stage, it’s direct, loud and unvarnished.

Bootlicker bring a clenched-teeth take on hardcore: tight d-beat, serrated riffs and songs that hit and run, all grit, no filler.

Languid keep the pressure up with blown-out guitars, relentless drums and distortion-heavy punk that rattles from the first bar to the last.

Motherfuckers round out the bill with fast, abrasive cuts and shouted vocals, the kind of set that turns sweat into momentum.
