Info
On 23 May 2026, Dayseeker brings The Pale Moonlight Tour to Midway Music Hall in Edmonton, with Northlane and sace6 on the bill.
Formed in 2012 in Orange County, Dayseeker moves between post-hardcore and metalcore, balancing melodic vocals, heavier breaks and atmospheric layers. Early releases like What It Means to Be Defeated and Origin set the tone, before Dreaming Is Sinking /// Waking Is Rising pushed a more conceptual, cinematic edge. With Sleeptalk, the band leaned into synths, mid-tempos and an emo-pop hue, a path deepened on Dark Sun, where the writing turns darker and more introspective. Rory Rodriguez’s expressive voice anchors songs built on dynamics rather than technical showmanship.
Northlane, from Sydney, started in 2009 with a technical, progressive-tinged metalcore, marked by djent-influenced riffs and sharp rhythmic work. Discoveries and Singularity established the foundation, then the arrival of Marcus Bridge in 2014 opened a broader palette: Node brought more atmosphere, Mesmer refined the density, and Alien injected electronic and industrial textures that the band pursued on Obsidian, blending weight, contrast and immersive sound design.
sace6 opens the evening.
