On May 12, 2026, Joyce Manor brings their concise, melody-forward punk to Commodore Ballroom, 868 Granville Street, V6Z 1K3 Vancouver, Canada. Born from the DIY LA scene, the Torrance quartet has spent more than a decade writing sharp, compact songs that trace everyday anxieties and late-night narratives. From their self-titled debut to Never Hungover Again, Cody and 40 oz. to Fresno, the band moves fast and keeps the hooks in plain view, built around Barry Johnson’s candid vocals and guitars that cut straight to the point.
Militarie Gun channels a similar sense of urgency with a different edge. Formed by Ian Shelton in Los Angeles, the group blends hardcore roots with tuneful, rough-edged rock, pairing tense riffs with clear, direct choruses. The early EPs and Life Under the Gun set the pace: short blasts, thick guitars, and a drive that keeps things tight and immediate.
Teen Mortgage and Combat round out the bill, pushing the energy further for a night of lean, high-tempo punk and indie rock.
