FouKi

Montreal rapper FouKi, a.k.a. Thomas Gagnon-Coupal, plays Le Club Dix30 in Brossard on November 15, 2026. Raised in the Plateau-Mont-Royal, he’s built a sound where melodic rap brushes against reggae inflections and pop-ready hooks, carried by a familiar, decidedly Montreal way of speaking. After early DIY drops online, he signed to 7ième Ciel and teamed with producer QuietMike, a steady collaborator who helped shape his relaxed grooves and sung refrains.

From Zayon (2018) and ZayZay (2019) to Grignotines de luxe (2020) and Zayon II (2022), FouKi moves between light, head-nodding moods and more introspective writing, with features and playful vocal switches threading through his tracks. A regular on Quebec stages and festivals, he often links up with Jay Scøtt, including on the track Copilote. On stage, his set leans on warm production, supple rhythms and a narrative tone that shifts from daily life snapshots to more dreamy detours.
