On March 18, 2026, Shelf Lives lands at CALM Limoges. A punk-noise-electro duo from Great Britain, Sabrina Di Giulio and Jonny Hillyard manipulate machines and guitar to deliver short, nervy, stripped-down tracks. Dry drum-machine beats, minimalist synths, razor-sharp riffs and vocals that shift from spoken word to screams — their sound is direct. Their lyrics probe social collapse, hyperconsumption and the pervasive fatigue, with a black humor that hits as hard as the kick drums.
Somewhere between Sextile and Gilla Band, you can hear traces of dance-punk and industrial: hammered hooks and sharp ruptures that ratchet the pressure back up. As a duo, everything is tight, mobile and conceived for the stage: immediate tension, shouted choruses, abrupt breaks, and that sense of a club compressed into a rehearsal room. No frills, just the essentials.
Organized by the Hiero Federation, this event spotlights an act that holds rage, groove and DIY electronic tinkering together in a compact format — discover them at CALM Limoges on March 18, 2026.
