Ina Forsman

On April 9, 2026, Ina Forsman takes over La Grande Ourse Saint-Agathon. A Finnish singer and songwriter born in Helsinki, she has charted a path between soul and blues since childhood, with a very contemporary approach. Spotted at 19 on the local blues scene, she represented Finland at the European Blues Challenge in 2014, then went on to perform widely across Europe—from the Blue Sisters tour in 2016 to a tribute to Donny Hathaway in 2018. Based between Helsinki and Berlin, she shapes a sound that blends heritage and modernity, exemplified by the single "Bad Influence," a collaboration with Bakermat. Her third album, All There Is, recorded between Finland and Berlin and released on JazzHaus Records, sharpens those influences and foregrounds more personal songwriting. Surrounded on stage by musicians from the North, Ina Forsman moves between soulful grooves, blues intensity and more intimate ballads, with influences ranging from Nina Simone to Aretha Franklin.
