Booder « Ah... l'école ! »

Booder, a Franco-Moroccan comedian, returns with "Ah... l’école!", a one-man show that retraces the classroom experience, from the schoolbag at the foot of the desk to parent-teacher meetings. To be seen on October 3, 2026 at Espace Isabelle de Hainaut - EIDH Bapaume. He revisits his years as a pupil—his friends, recess, the teachers who leave a mark and those we forget—then slides into the present as a father accompanying his son. The show includes his well-known improvised private lessons: everyday scenes that dissect a dictation, a grammar rule, or a math problem, blending playful bad faith, student tricks and a few dad’s hacks. With his keen eye for observation, Booder sketches a portrait of school as we all knew it and as it is changing, from class solidarities to heavier subjects like bullying. There’s no forced nostalgia or sweeping rhetoric, but a straightforward gaze that captures small foibles, big moments, excuse notes and hurried supervisors. It’s a return to the blackboard where we laugh at situations we thought we’d left behind—and where everyone recognizes an anecdote, a teacher, a prank or the sharp ring of the bell.
