Douran returns with a live performance conceived as a bridge between orchestral and electronic. Pianos, strings and synths converse to create a cinematic, organic sound. At the heart of this release party he celebrates a double EP of 14 tracks: seven original pieces recorded with a Bulgarian choir, a string quartet and analog machines, and seven remixes entrusted to artists he admires, including il:lo. The full release concludes on March 13 at midnight; the day before, on March 12, 2026, he will take the stage at Le Hasard Ludique in Paris to present this new live show for the first time, accompanied by a drummer.
il:lo is a duo formed more than ten years ago in Prague, now split between Berlin and the south of France. Their music is constructed remotely, through exchanges of fragments until they find equilibrium. After their stint with Anjunadeep in 2021, they unveiled Myriad, an EP that pushes their sound toward a more danceable deep house while retaining the project’s melodic clarity. Their pared-down, almost architectural aesthetic guides both the visuals and the way they build tracks. Live, they perform this repertoire and also signed one of the remixes on Douran’s project.
