Thaïs « Fille de joie »

Info

On March 14, 2026, at the Théâtre du Gymnase - Marie Bell in Paris, Thaïs unveils Fille de joie, a very personal chapter. At 33, single, childless, a freelance performer and a proudly redheaded woman, she trades the couch for the stage and uses the pretext of a family dinner to unpack what itches: impulse-related phobias, respiratory and food allergies, and that social unease that clings to the skin. In an evening that derails the way these nights do, we encounter the vegan cousin, a father in the midst of a revelation, a very open mother, and secrets that spill out when Uncle speaks. Between eczema and angioedema (Quincke’s edema), she tells of her missteps, her fears and her small victories, taking an honest look at the pressures that accompany age, partnership and career.

Fille de joie is written by Thaïs Vauquières with Stéphane Casez and Paul Brinio, and directed by Stéphane Casez. A stand-up show rooted in reality, where family, bodies and allergies often end up answering one another.
