Good Kid

Good Kid returns to Paris on September 30, 2026, at the Trabendo to present their debut album Can We Hang Out Sometime?. Born in Toronto, the quintet blends nervy riffs drawn from J‑rock with pop‑punk energy and indie‑rock vitality. The band lines up catchy melodies, clever lyrics and a cohesive group dynamic that pushes their songs into a decidedly direct and effective format.

Originally, five computer‑science students decided to form a band to blow off steam between assignments: Nick Frosst on vocals, Jon Kereliuk on drums, Michael Kozakov on bass, and David Wood and Jacob Tsafatinos on guitars. The project gained momentum through releases and live shows, rallying a loyal audience around their world.

After four EPs, this debut album gathers taut choruses, inventive guitar work and a sound palette that opens up to new textures and rhythms. Recorded in Los Angeles with producer John Congleton (St. Vincent, Wallows, Lana Del Rey), it captures a more direct side of the band without losing their sense of melody. At the Trabendo, Good Kid will unveil these new tracks alongside the songs that helped shape their identity, in a format conceived for the stage.
