Info
Crack Cloud, a Canadian multimedia collective formed in 2015, carves a path between post-punk, no-wave and rough-edged pop, with a taste for off-kilter structures and striking choruses. Their music shifts between crisp melodies and embraced abrasions, angular guitars, dry rhythms and tightly delivered spoken-word. After Pain Olympics (2020) and Tough Baby (2022), they return with Red Mile, eight tracks that hone their collective songwriting and their way of intersecting narrative, choral arrangements and nervy edits. You can hear echoes of Talking Heads, Gang of Four and John Cale, and at times the shadow of Silver Mt. Zion, all assimilated into a language that is distinctly their own.
On April 28, 2026, Crack Cloud takes over La Coopérative de Mai in Clermont-Ferrand. On stage, the collective performs with a shifting lineup, blending sound, visuals and stage presence without frills. It’s an opportunity to hear Red Mile live and to dive back into the songs that have shaped their trajectory, between rhythmic tension and vocal bursts.
