Autechre

Autechre, the British electronic duo formed by Sean Booth and Rob Brown, stops at Cabaret Aléatoire in Marseille on 13 October 2026. Active since the early 1990s on Warp, they have built a distinctive sonic language in which generative sequences, angular rhythms and abstract textures interlock. Their performances favor evolving structures, created in real time from machines and custom patches, featuring abrupt breaks, shifting basslines and details that surface and then dissipate. There are no fixed tracks, only a trajectory that reconfigures itself at every moment.

This Marseille date is part of their European tour for autumn 2026, which includes a string of concerts in France also calling at Paris, Nantes and Lille. It’s an opportunity to hear Autechre in a format tailored to the venue: a dense, precise sound—no choruses or pre-recorded backing tracks—that places electronic material at the center and lets contour, dynamics and space speak.
