Founded in Paris in 2021, ASHEN forges an introspective, cathartic metalcore path. The band turns the past, traumas and fears nourished by the contemporary world into raw material to craft songs with cutting guitars and dark atmospheres. Their writing seeks the direct expression of intense feelings, setting opposing emotional poles in dialogue to shape a multifaceted, clear‑eyed and unvarnished identity. ASHEN will be on stage on 23 May 2026 at the Rack’am in Brétigny‑sur‑Orge.
Opening the show is Parallyx, a metalcore/djent outfit created by Moroccan vocalist Lina and based in France. The project blends syncopated rhythms, heavy textures and edgy vocal lines, balancing technical tension with melodic relief. An opening that sets the tone for the evening.
