Andy Timmons

Andy Timmons will be at Rockhal Esch-sur-Alzette on March 22, 2026. The American guitarist, first noticed as a member of Danger Danger, has played major stages alongside Kiss and Alice Cooper. Since then he has carved out a personal path between melodic rock, blues, jazz fusion and instrumental pop, both solo and with the Andy Timmons Band, with a precise, lyrical style that always centers on melody.

He has been heard with Olivia Newton-John, Simon Phillips, Paula Abdul and Paul Stanley — collaborations that reveal different facets of his sound each time. His project Plays Sgt. Pepper revisits the Beatles instrumentally with carefully crafted arrangements. Electric Truth, released in 2022 and recorded with guitarist-producer Josh Smith, delivers a warm groove and an effective sense of riff. In 2025, Recovery explores more introspective moods, between ambient washes and rock motifs, with a nod to Tom Petty and a cover of "I’m In Love" (Lennon/McCartney), recorded at Abbey Road.

On stage, Timmons favors phrasing and dynamics, alternating clear lines, atmospheric textures and more muscular surges. A chance to dive into the world of a guitarist who effortlessly blends rock heritage with sonic curiosity.
