PONTE DEL DIAVOLO arrives for its first French tour and stops in Lyon on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Rock n’Eat Live Lyon. Signed to Season of Mist, the Italian band draws a dark line between doom and black metal: thick guitars, tempos that stretch the tension, sudden faster eruptions, possessed vocals, ritual atmospheres. On stage, the quartet plays the contrast between weight and dissonance, with compositions that alternate between plodding marches and more abrasive assaults. Seen at Roadburn 2025, the project is honing a songwriting that prioritizes atmosphere without losing impact.
WITCHORIOUS opens on the French side. The French trio, picked up by Argonauta Records, draws on doom and stoner, combining gritty riffs, a driving groove and veiled melodies. A more earthbound approach, where bass and vocals carry the songs over extended lengths to establish the mood. An ideal counterpoint to PONTE DEL DIAVOLO’s darkness, for a meeting where densities answer each other without crushing one another.
