La Yegros

La Yegros returns to the stage with Haz and brings her show to Espace James Chambaud in Lons on May 29, 2026. Originally from Argentina, she has established herself as a distinctive voice of nu-cumbia, the current that shakes up tradition by plugging it into the present. Her signature: a blend of popular South American rhythms and urban sounds, mixing driving percussion, warm basslines and catchy melodies.

With Haz, La Yegros delves into more intimate themes while keeping the sense of groove that runs through her records and concerts. The new tracks draw on cumbia, Andean folklore and restrained electronic touches, using a way of making lead vocals, choir and pulse converse for a direct and generous effect.

On stage she alternates recent songs and standout hits, led by a tight rhythm section and arrangements crafted for the live setting. It’s an opportunity to discover the evolution of an artist who continues to open nu-cumbia to new horizons without losing her Latin roots.
