Sellig « Épisode 6 »

On November 21, 2026, Sellig presents "Episode 6" at the Théâtre de Champagne in Troyes. As author and director of his solo show, he stays true to his favorite playground: observing everyday life and those little things that can derail a day. He dissects seemingly innocuous situations, hunts down the details that itch, and reveals what they say about us.

In this new chapter, he returns to his culinary apprenticeship, when theory meets reality and the gestures do not forgive. He owns his "fifty-three-ness," tougher than merely being in your fifties, with calm clarity and a healthy dose of self-mockery. He also reopens the door to an old-fashioned Christmas at his famous sister’s, accompanied by Bernard, the brother-in-law with equal coolness, for an unvarnished family tableau.

Episode 6 strings together portraits, memories and slices of life. Sellig sculpts precisely cut characters with exacting writing and a clean rhythm. His gaze catches our habits, irritations and contradictions, without grand speeches or flaunting—just enough to turn the ordinary into scenes that hit the mark.
