Elmer Food Beat celebrates its 40th anniversary on stage on October 9, 2026, at Rock School Barbey in Bordeaux. Formed in 1986, the band has amassed countless gigs and catchy choruses, selling nearly a million records, earning gold and platinum discs, winning a Victoire de la Musique, and filling venues including the Olympia. In 2026 comes the Re-Tour: Elmer will perform the album 30 cm in its entirety, originally released 36 years ago, and reopen the vault of tracks that marked their beginnings. With the return of Kelu, a companion from the band’s early days, the lineup is back to five on stage, as it was then. On the bill are straightforward rock, unfiltered lyrics and the self-deprecating humor that defines the group—an opportunity to span four decades of songs that accompanied crowds, from must-haves to tracks newly brought into the spotlight.
