Covertramp

Covertramp, a tribute to Supertramp hailed by Roger Hodgson, dives back into the repertoire of the English band from the 1970s–80s. Six multi‑instrumentalists set out to reproduce the original arrangements, keys and vocal harmonies, all performed live. The project covers the five albums that shaped the group’s trajectory, with a through line conceived as a journey through the discography.

On the bill: “School,” “Dreamer,” “Breakfast in America,” “Goodbye Stranger,” “Take the Long Way Home,” “Fool’s Overture” and “Give a Little Bit,” among other landmark titles of British pop. Without resorting to rigid pastiche, Covertramp works on the textures, breaks and contrasts that define the Davies/Hodgson signature, aiming for a precise and vibrant rendition.
