Julien Clerc returns to the stage at the Théâtre Olympia d’Arcachon in Arcachon on 10 April 2026. A songwriter, composer and performer, he has carved out a singular path since the late 1960s, with songs that have accompanied several generations. His instantly recognizable voice and piano-driven melodies carry titles that have filled the airwaves: Ma préférence, Femmes je vous aime, Ce n’est rien, Mélissa, Hélène, and many others. In concert he alternates between ballads and livelier rhythms, while leaving room for the lyrics and arrangements. The performances reveal his taste for harmonies, memorable refrains and stories told plainly. He draws from a wide repertoire, slips in some more recent songs, sheds fresh light on classics and gives these pieces a different color live. An evening to reconnect with an important chapter of French chanson, close to the voice and the piano.
