Danyl arrives at Paloma in Nîmes on March 28, 2026. A self-taught rapper, songwriter, composer and beatmaker, he began producing at a very young age—for himself and for others—accumulating experiments and behind-the-scenes collaborations. Curious about formats and usage, he was among the first artists to create tracks live on Twitch, where he showcases his method: start from a simple idea, turn it into a production, then develop it into a finished song.

French-Algerian, Danyl draws as much from the sonorities of raï as from the modernity of rap and electronic music. This dual culture feeds a rhythmic and melodic world he brings together under the name Khedma, “work” in Arabic, as a guiding thread between heritage and the present. Each track is built around percussive textures, catchy loops and precise arrangements, conceived for live performance as much as for headphone listening. Announced for the autumn, his debut album extends this approach, aiming to create a dialogue between digital production and popular influences. At Paloma, this signature is evident: direct lyricism, finely crafted productions and the sensibility of an artisan who shapes his sound down to the millimeter.
