Noëlle Perna returns to the stage with Mado fait son cabaret, and it’s Mado la Niçoise who leads the show. Created by the comedian from Nice, the character keeps her frankness and a sharp, café‑counter accent. Between short sketches, little songs and asides, Mado puts on a cabaret in her own way: everyday vignettes, colorful neighbors, lost tourists, classified ads and untimely phone calls — a whole parade of characters who pass through again and again. The language mixes Niçois expressions with popular turns of phrase, featuring brisk patter that points out today’s foibles. We meet the landlady, the customers, the cousins, passing strangers; Mado comments, teases, sets them straight, then launches into a refrain or a new skit. The format shifts between cabaret and short chronicle, carried by Noëlle Perna’s precise acting and the comic mechanics of her trademark character.
