An Evening With David Byrne - Who is the Sky Tour

David Byrne returns to the stage with AN EVENING WITH DAVID BYRNE – WHO IS THE SKY TOUR. A founding member of Talking Heads, the singer-songwriter is releasing Who Is the Sky, his first album since American Utopia (2018), slated for September 5 on Matador Records. Produced with Kid Harpoon and arranged by New York’s Ghost Train Orchestra, the record comprises 12 tracks, led by the single “Everybody Laughs.” Byrne surrounds himself with both longtime and new collaborators, from St. Vincent to Hayley Williams (Paramore), as well as Tom Skinner (The Smile) and Mauro Refosco.

On stage, he presents a show conceived as a journey through his universe, blending new material with key songs from his catalog, supported by an ensemble of 13 musicians, singers and dancers, including members of the American Utopia troupe, all in motion. Pop, art-rock, percussive textures and refined orchestrations come together in a physical and musical staging that has become his trademark.
