Roland Magdane says goodbye with Clap de fin and will perform at the Ponant in Pacé on April 19, 2026. For fifty years, he has taken his sketches from television to the stage, moving between observations of everyday life, self-deprecating humour and a gallery of recognisable characters. This farewell tour closes a career carried out without pause, giving him the opportunity to take it easier after so many years on the road.
On stage he revisits his stories, reworks themes that have followed him and slips in a few new pieces, in a direct face-to-face with the audience. Clap de fin assembles a selection of memorable texts and more intimate asides, driven by his sense of rhythm and his taste for situations that go off the rails. A final appointment to close a chapter of stage and television, with the simplicity and closeness that are his trademark.
