Arthur H et Pierre Le Bourgeois

Info

Arthur H and cellist Pierre Le Bourgeois meet on stage for a two-person conversation, both physical and sonic. The cello can weave a clear melody and then, suddenly biting, grind into a screech, while the piano, keyboards, guitar and Arthur H’s voice shift the lines between spoken poetry and pulse. The point of departure is acoustic, familiar, almost classical; very quickly, the duo delights in reshaping the material live through sampling, loops and some discreet tinkering. Pierre captures, layers and transforms; Arthur opens up, displaces and carves out spaces. Everything is made in full view, with an artisanal approach where gesture becomes music. Here, technology remains a tool in the service of listening, guided by decidedly human hands, to tell contemporary stories without getting lost in the machines. Between reinvented covers and spontaneous flashes, they seek balance, surprise and play. Join them on March 19, 2026 at the Théâtre de l’Atelier in Paris to share this duo experience.
