Clio returns to the stage at La Maroquinerie in Paris on February 3, 2027, with her distinctive way of keeping the song on the line between the text and the melody. Since her self-titled debut album (2016), fairly spare and acoustic, she has gradually widened the frame: a more synth-pop approach on Déjà Venise (2019), extended by L’amour hélas (2021), without ever relinquishing the precision of the writing or the voice’s prominence. Her album Carambolages (2023) confirms this taste for clean arrangements, between urban atmospheres and choruses that go straight to the point.
In concert, Clio often favors a tight, streamlined formation, designed to let the words breathe as much as the textures, whether they lean toward acoustic or electronic. Expect a set that traverses her different periods, with the same attention to detail, songs that tell without overemphasizing, and a live presence commensurate with the emotion, without unnecessary effects.
