Info
On October 13, 2027, at The Glasshouse - International Centre for Music in Gateshead, Belinda Carlisle brings her “It’s Been Heavenly” tour to the UK, with a set built on the punchy pop instincts that made her a key voice of late-’70s LA new wave before she shifted into sleek, chorus-driven pop rock. Expect a journey from the post-Go-Go’s solo era—bright hooks, direct songwriting, and that polished edge shaped by long-time collaborators—through to the later turns in her catalog, where she’s kept testing new formats while staying anchored in melody and stagecraft.
Go West opens the night with their London-bred mix of melodic pop rock and blue-eyed soul: clean guitars, glossy synth touches, and the kind of tight songwriting that defined mid-’80s British pop. Their set draws on the early singles that put them on the map, plus the early-’90s run that kept their choruses in heavy rotation, all delivered with the band’s trademark smoothness and live punch.
