Info
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard lands in Paris on June 18, 2027 at the Zenith in Paris with its own distinctive way of pushing the boundaries of rock. Born in Melbourne around Stu Mackenzie, the band moves as a pack and sheds its skin without warning: garage and lo‑fi psych from their early days, prog-rock turns, folk forays, jazz-rock detours, heavy passages, up to more electronic textures.
What makes their live shows so powerful is precisely their love of movement: multi-layered sets, sequences that stretch out, repetitive passages that rise into a trance, and a repertoire that can flip from one album to another in the blink of an eye. Expect a concert built like a journey, fed by their concept albums and microtonal explorations, but also by the more direct energy of their most metallic releases. The kind of encounter where improvisation rubs shoulders with precise writing, and where each track can lead into another.
