Info
Twenty-five years after O, Damien Rice revisits the thread of a record that left a lasting mark on the folk of the 2000s. Written, recorded, and produced in a DIY spirit, the album imposed its spare grammar: a naked voice, guitar and piano, silences that count as much as the notes, and this way of building tension without ever overdoing it. For this anniversary tour, the Irishman revisits the songs that have accompanied several generations, from ballads held at the brink of rupture to rougher passages, with a direct interpretation and a rare attention to the dynamics of live performance. On April 12, 2027, at the Grand Rex in Paris, he will come to celebrate O as an intact snapshot, and to rediscover that special connection he knows how to create when fragility becomes a strength on stage.
