Info
On 26 June 2027, Lincoln Castle hosts a night built around three big UK names who shaped the jump from late-70s new wave into glossy 80s pop.
Holly Johnson takes centre stage, drawing on the sharp, dance-driven edge that made him the voice of Frankie Goes to Hollywood, alongside highlights from a solo run that’s leaned into electronic pop and big choruses from Blast through to Europa. Expect a set that moves between club-ready punch and more personal cuts.
Haircut 100 bring their bright, tight pop mix of new wave, jazz-funk and Brit-funk: nimble guitars, elastic basslines, sax flourishes and that early-80s snap. With key members back onstage in recent years, their Pelican West-era favourites sit naturally next to a leaner, still-grooving live feel.
Toyah rounds out the bill with her post-punk-to-pop-rock range, from the punchy hooks of early band records to the bolder, more theatrical turns of her later work, built for a live show that’s direct, restless, and full of character.
