Info
Les Garçons Bouchers (FR) - song, punk, alternative rock. A tribute tour to François Hadji-Lazaro, a songwriter, composer, designer, and multi-instrumentalist, but not the singer of Les Garçons Bouchers.
On September 16, 2023, a tribute to François Hadji-Lazaro (who died on February 25, 2023) was held at the Fête de l’Huma in Paris. The show Tchao François brought together former members of Les Garçons Bouchers and Pigalle, notably Pierrot Sapu, the singer of Les Garçons Bouchers.
Following this emotional evening, the band decided to go back on tour to carry this farewell forward. The repertoire digs into the group’s punk core, with François’s most engaged and outspoken lyrics such as Guerre, Noir et blanc, Super ce matin, j’ai rencontré Dieu, Sale gueule, Les vieux, faudrait les jeter à la poubelle, all wrapped by the band’s anthems such as La bière, La Lambada on n’aime pas ça, Carnivore, Le rap des Garçons Bouchers, punctuating the band’s twelve years of career.
And, last but not least, paying homage to François also means including a few songs by Pigalle and Los Carayos.
Pierre, François’s son, has conceived a film tracing the band’s journey and it will be screened during the concert, François appearing there as a protective angel. The concert Les Garçons Bouchers - Tchao François will take place at La Rayonne on 2 April 2027 at 6:00 PM.
